Taylor's Dance Company provides dance tuition for all ages & abilities in Braintree and Colchester.
Established in 2015, Taylor’s Dance Company strives to bring fun, confidence building and a love of dance to all. We believe dancing is for everyone so our classes are all-inclusive- everyone & anyone can join!
Taylor's Dance Company promotes good technique & brilliant performance skills, we use a mix of syllabus and routine-based learning. We work towards performances for our family & friends at community events, our biennial show & IDTA examinations.
We offer children's classes, adult classes, holiday workshops, wedding lessons, school clubs, & much much more.

CHILDRENS CLASSES
Our Children’s Classes cover Ballet, Tap & Modern in one class! The classes are split into 5 age groups.
We also offer extra classes in Street/Commercial, Acro Dance, Pointe & our Elite Teams
Our Mini Classes combine Ballet and Modern in a fun and engaging session for young dancers. Through simple exercises and creative routines, children develop coordination, confidence, and a love of dance in a warm and encouraging environment.

Our Primary Classes introduce dancers to Ballet, Modern, and Tap in carefully structured sessions. Children continue to build their technique, musicality, and confidence while developing strong foundations for future progress.

Our Junior Classes combine Ballet, Tap, and Modern in an engaging and structured session. Dancers strengthen their technique while developing stamina, flexibility, coordination, and performance skills in a supportive environment.

Designed for dancers in Years 6 and 7, our Inters Classes build on established skills and technique. With a focus on strength, control, musicality, and performance quality, students continue to grow in confidence and maturity.

Our Senior Classes provide high-level training for dancers continuing their journey through Ballet, Tap, and Modern. Students refine their technique, artistry, and performance skills while developing the discipline and confidence to reach their full potential.

Acro Dance combines the graceful movements of dance and difficult tricks from acrobatics/gymnastics.

Our Elite Team offers an extra chance to dance! Focusing on technique & strengthening exercises in various dance styles. Our Elite Teams focus on learning routines to perform in the community.

ADULTS CLASSES
Whether you are returning to dance or looking to start a new skill, our adult classes provide an option for all.
Our Advanced Adult class is suitable for anyone who has danced before. The class covers a mix of ballet, tap, modern, and many other styles.
Ages 18+
Must have ballet & tap experience to an intermediate level.

Our pointe classes suit pupils who have been en-pointe for a while and would like to continue their training.
Age 16+
Pupils must have studied ballet for several years.

Our Beginners/Mixed Ability Adult Tap class is great for anyone completely new to tap or who has had limited tap experience before! We will break down all the steps and learn fun routines at a slightly slower pace!

Our Intermediate Adult Tap class is perfect for anyone who has tapped before recently or when they were younger! We learn more advanced steps, and learn routines with more steps at a faster pace!
