TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS- TDC CLASSES
TDC must have a completed Booking Form for your child otherwise they will not be able to complete the class.

Trial Period- your child’s first half term with Taylor’s Dance Company.

During the trial period, you can pay as you go for each class. Payment must be made at the start of each class.

Taylor’s Dance Company must have a completed Booking Form for your child otherwise they will not be able to complete the class.

After the Trial Period, half term payments are due within the first 2 weeks of term.

Term Payments are invoiced by email, and must be paid in cash (in envelope, with name of child) or by bank transfer.

Payments made after the first 2 weeks of term will be liable for a Late Payment Fee. The Late Payment Fee will be £10 for every week the payment is late. E.g. 1 week late = £10, 2 weeks late = £20.  This is due to extra administration duties & expenses.

If a payment is over 2 weeks late we have the right to consult and employ a debt agency to recover any outstanding payments.

If your child misses a class, the class fee is non-refundable.

Please advise us by email/text if your child is not returning before the start of term otherwise your Term Payment will still be liable and your child’s place will be released.

PAYMENTS- AFTER SCHOOL/BREAKFAST CLUBS
TDC must have a completed Booking Form for your child otherwise they will not be able to complete the class.

Half Term Payments are due within the first 2 weeks of term. Term Payments are invoiced by email, and must be paid by bank transfer. Payments are non- refundable.

PAYMENTS- ADULT CLASSES
Pay as you Go Classes must be paid at the beginning or during the class. 

Bulk Payments are non- refundable. Please ensure you make a note of the number of lessons you have attended.


PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Throughout this policy, ‘photography’ refers to any images, whether moving or still including but not limited to DVDs, videos, photographic prints, slides and electronic image files.

Taylor’s Dance Company recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all our students.

In accordance with our Child Protection Policy (which can be found on our website) we will not permit photographs, video or other images of children and young people to be taken without the consent of the parents/carers and children.

Taylor’s Dance Company will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform the Principal immediately.

Photography forms an important part of dance school life and, as a School, we like to keep a photographic record of our Student’s dance-related efforts and achievements. We also use photographs for advertising purposes including newspapers, leaflets, & social media. Video recording may be used in the future during performances. In addition, teachers may well use photography as a teaching tool.

In line with the Child Protection Policy Taylor’s Dance Company will abide by the following:
-              Avoid using children’s names (first name or surname) in photograph captions.
-              Only use images of children in suitable dress to reduce the risk of inappropriate use.
-              Do not allow photographers unsupervised access to children.

LIABILITY
Taylor’s Dance Company takes as much care as possible to ensure a safe experience and environment for all participants. This includes ensuring all equipment; props and dance space are safe for practice and having the appropriate public liability insurance.

All activities are undertaken at the participant’s own risk we cannot be responsible for claims for injury, damage, or loss.

Dance is a physical activity which can cause the internal body temperature to rise, you may get hot, please dress appropriately.

Parents/guardians/organiser are responsible in letting the Teacher know of any allergies, medical conditions or learning difficulties.  
 

LOST PROPERTY
Taylor’s Dance Company cannot undertake any responsibility for any money or articles left behind after classes or any liability for lost or stolen items. We recommend bringing only essential items to classes. We would advise children to NOT bring mobile phones to class.


MOBILE PHONES
We advise children NOT to bring mobile phones to class. We understand as Children become older they may bring a mobile phone with them to class to contact a parent/guardian at the end of the class or to arrange a pick-up point. Due to safeguarding, we will ask for all mobile phones to be left on the teacher’s desk during class time, they may be checked during breaks, but otherwise left alone during class. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
