Taylor’s Dance Company strives to bring fun, confidence-building and a love of dance to all. We believe dancing is for everyone so our classes are all-inclusive- everyone & anyone can join!
I started Taylor’s Dance Company in 2015 to share my love of dance with everyone, and my goal has always been simple: to create a place where children feel encouraged, build their confidence, and leave every class with the biggest smiles.
One of the reasons this transition feels so natural is that Kelly and I grew up training in very similar dance schools. We share the same values, the same approach to teaching, and the same passion for creating a supportive environment for young dancers. You’ll see that reflected in everything we do moving forward.
We’re not here to change what makes this school special — only to support, celebrate and continue the wonderful community Kelly has built.

Our classes cover Ballet, Tap & Modern in one class!
Classes will continue at Kingsland Church. We also have classes in Highwoods & Braintree.
Miss Freya will also be joining the TDC Team and continuing to teach the classes.
Either Miss Niki or Miss Tia will pop by regularly to see how everyone is getting on! You may also meet new teachers who will be there to support Miss Freya’s training!
No need to purchase a new uniform until your child has outgrown their current one!
We understand how important timetables are for busy families, so we will be keeping class days and times as close to the current schedule as possible. In some cases, class lengths may be extended to ensure KR children have the same opportunities as TDC pupils.
Unfortunately, Kingsland Church is being very slow in getting back to me regarding room availability. As soon as I have confirmation, I will be in touch with further details. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We are aiming to keep friendship groups together wherever possible. There may be some groups that we contact and offer the choice of either moving up an age group or staying with their friends.
TDC AGE GROUPS
Mini Classes- Pre-School- Reception
30 Minutes
Our Mini Classes combine Ballet and Modern in a fun, engaging session designed for younger dancers. Through simple exercises and lively routines, children learn the foundations of dance while building confidence, creativity, and a love of performing in a warm and encouraging setting.
Primary Classes- Yr 1- Yr3
1 hour
In our Primary Classes, dancers continue to develop their Ballet and Modern training while being introduced to Tap. Sessions are carefully structured to strengthen technique, coordination, and musicality, while building confidence and performance skills in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Junior Classes- Yr4- Yr5
1 Hour 30 Minutes
Junior Classes combine Ballet, Tap & Modern in an engaging, expertly structured session. Dancers build strong technical foundations while developing stamina, strength, and flexibility, with a focus on coordination, control, and musicality. In a supportive, uplifting environment, children grow in confidence and performance quality, progressing with skill and a genuine love of dance.
Inters Classes- Yr6- Yr7
1 Hour 30 Minutes
Our Inters Classes combine Ballet, Tap & Modern in an engaging, expertly structured session designed for this important stage of development. Dancers continue to strengthen their technical foundations while building stamina, strength, and control. With a focus on precision, musicality, and performance quality, students grow in confidence and maturity within a supportive and motivating environment.
Senior Classes- Yr8+
1 Hour 30 Minutes
Our Senior Classes offer a dynamic and high-level training environment, combining Ballet, Tap & Modern in expertly delivered sessions. As dancers continue their journey, they refine advanced technique while developing strength, stamina, and artistic control. With a strong emphasis on precision, expression, and performance excellence, students are encouraged to work with focus, discipline, and individuality, progressing with confidence and a committed passion for dance.

ACRO DANCE - Ages 5+
1 Hour
Our Acro Dance classes blend the strength of acrobatics with the grace of dance. Following the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, dancers develop flexibility, balance, and control while learning impressive tricks and smooth transitions. In a supportive environment, students build confidence, coordination, and performance quality—perfect for those who love both gymnastics and dance.
STREET/COMMERCIAL- Ages 5+

Our Street & Commercial classes are high-energy and stylish, combining dynamic choreography with the latest industry-inspired movement. Dancers develop coordination, rhythm, and performance confidence while building strength, control, and musicality. In a supportive and motivating environment, students are encouraged to express their individuality and perform with confidence and attitude.
ELITE TEAM- Junior, Inter & Senior
1 Hour 30 Minutes
Our Elite Team offers a dedicated opportunity for dancers to take their training further. With a strong focus on technique, strength, and conditioning across a range of styles, students refine their skills to a higher level. Dancers also learn and perfect routines for performances, community events, and competitions, building confidence, commitment, and a strong sense of team spirit.
exam/ community/ show
26/27 will be an Exam/ Community Performance Year.
Exams- All pupils can take exams in Ballet, Tap & Freestyle. Our younger pupils take Rosettes & our older pupils take Team Exams, which are marked as a group.
Exams are optional.
Community Performances- We take part in various community performances throughout the year, including Christmas Light Switch-on/parades, Summer Carnivals, School fetes, etc.
All exams & community performances are optional.
Our Shows are held every 2 years! Our next show will be June 2028 & will be held at the Mercury Theatre.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
+Our classes are paid monthly via recurring payments on the 30th of each month. (Contact us if this date is not convenient.)
+We split 38 weeks of dance, over 12 equal monthly payments. You pay during the school holidays.
+All payments include VAT and are subject to a Platform Fee (4.5% +0.20p).
+Sibling & Multi-Class Discount Available
+Hopefully, you’ll never leave us, but if you do, drop us an email to give one month’s notice. We will work out your leaving date and if any further monies are due!
cLASS PRICES
30 minute classes- £30.40 per month + platform fee
Primary- 1 hour classes- £32.30 per month + platform fee
Junior, Inter, Senior- 1hour 30 minute classes- £38 per month + platform fee
