PERFORMANCE MEGAMIX
We are excited to announce some brilliant performance opportunities for 2027!
We have 35 places for each performance. Pupils can take part in both Performances.
Places are first come, first served.
Attendance at all rehearsals is compulsory in order to participate in the event. If there is a specific rehearsal date that you are unable to attend due to a prior commitment, please email us before registering. We will review the absence and confirm whether participation in the event will still be possible.

TAKE THE STAGE
Take the Stage is an annual performance event that brings together students from 22 schools across Essex and Kent, giving them the opportunity to perform at one of the region's most prestigious theatres. Taylor's Dance Company participants will perform in two routines as part of this exciting showcase.
PERFORMANCE DAY: Saturday 3rd July
LOCATION: The Cliffs Pavilion, Southend
TIME: A rehearsal slot will take place during the day, followed by the evening performance. Participants should expect to be available for the majority of the day.
COST:
Take the Stage Attendance Fee - £27.50. This includes a Finale T-Shirt and a minimum of three tickets. This fee is paid directly to Take the Stage upon registration and must be completed before 15th November 2026.
Rehearsal & Costume Costs - £85 per child. This includes all rehearsal dates and costume hire.

• Remaining balance due by 1st March 2027
WHO CAN JOIN US: Open to any Taylor's Dance Company student aged 8+ (Year 4 and above). Due to the size of the venue and the amount of movement required throughout the day, we are unable to accept younger participants.
REHEARSAL DATES: All held at Coggeshall Village Hall, 25 Stoneham Street, Coggeshall, CO6 1UH between 9.30am- 11am.

Participants must be able to travel to and from Southend independently on the performance day.
Tickets are released on 1st December and typically sell very quickly, so we recommend booking early.
Please note that all participants must have permission for photography and video recording, including the use of images and footage on social media, as required by Take the Stage.

SSPA SCHOOLS GOTTA DANCE
SSPA Schools Gotta Dance provides local schools and dance schools with the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre setting. Taylor's Dance Company participants will perform two routines as part of the show, before enjoying the remainder of the performance from the audience.
PERFORMANCE DAY: Monday 21st June
LOCATION: Civic Theatre, Chelmsford
TIME: Rehearsal at 5pm. Show at 7pm- Finish 9.30pm.
COST: Gotta Dance, Rehearsal & Costume Costs: £87 per child, which includes the £2 SSPA participation fee, all rehearsals, and costume hire.
Payment schedule:
£20 due by 13th November 2026
£30 due by 1st January 2027
Remaining balance due by 1st March 2027
WHO CAN JOIN US: Open to all Taylor's Dance Company students in Year 1 and above (aged 5/6+).
REHEARSAL DATES: All rehearsals are held at Coggeshall Village Hall, 25 Stoneham Street, Coggeshall, CO6 1UH, between 11am-12.30pm.

Tickets are usually released in April and tend to sell quickly, so we recommend booking as soon as they become available.
